We are back from yet another AWESOME trip to Disneyland. It was so BEAUTIFUL, they have the park decked out for Christmas. Rylie had a blast. She surprised me by some of the things she has remembered from previous trips, like when we went to watch It's Tough To Be A Bug, we were walking through the winding path and she mentioned something about getting glasses to watch it. She remembered a lot. A big highlight for me was in the cowboy roundup coral they had a live Santa Clause to take pictures, the line was only 5 min. I had wanted to take Rylie to the mall for her annual picture with the jolly man so I said if she takes a good picture there will be no mall trip. 5 min later and a lot of love for Santa we saved $30 or so and we don't have to wait in the mall line. HIGH 5 FOR US. I can't wait to take her again over Christmas Eve and Day. Thanks Daddy for a fun trip. We love you so much better.

GGGGOOOO UTES!!!!

WOW! What an awesome game. Utah won over TCU in the last 2 minutes of the game. It was sort of a shock. TCU is a good team and they kept us running. We were running but couldn't catch anybody. The weather was cold but we stayed bundled up. I could barely zip up my parka because of my expanding belly. Jim and I sit next to each other at the games and we just laugh and goof around. Last night we were playing musical hand warmers. He had a pair in his gloves and I had some in mine. His hands were so cold that they cooled the warmers down 10 degrees and mine were so HOT they were burning my palms, so every few minutes we would trade. I could always warm his cold ones up to HOT. It was so fun. See ya in San Diego next week!!!!!

CPK!!!!

Tonight we went to The Gateway with Grandpa and Grandma. We walked around enjoyed California Pizza Kitchen and Bens Cookies. It was so much fun. We love you guys.

 

A Spooktacular Night!

What an AWESOME night. We first went to South Towne Center and Rylie got to trick or treat . After being there a half hour her bucket was half full she was practically dragging it to the car and she refused help. We met Chris at home and then proceeded to my favorite tradition, eating at The Henderson’s. It was so GOOD!!! A little somber but everyone enjoyed themselves, especially me. After diner we went around Grammy W’s neighborhood with Dave, Jessica and Draydon. Rylie was loving Draydon so much I think she would have traded her candy for him. Draydon only made it to about 6 houses and then he fell asleep. Grammy, Rylie and I finished 3 more circles alone. Then off to The Spangler’s where we visited and Rylie got to play with Seth’s kids and pass out candy. Next we went to My Moms and ate doughnuts and drank hot cocoa at The Laws and Grammy R. took Rylie around to do more trick or treating. Rylie had such a blast and got so much candy for going to about 13 houses. All in all it was a fantastic night. I can’t wait for next year. I LOVE HALLOWEEN!!!!!

The Best Trip To The Zoo.

Today Rylie and I went to the zoo, just the two of us and it was so much fun and so peaceful. It was 60 degrees and there were hardly any people in sight. It was like we had the zoo to ourselves. I let her just a walk where ever she wanted. What a lovely day. Chris we missed you. XOXO

We saw High School Musical 3. It was so AWESOME it was sad knowing there is not going to be anymore. :( For all you HSM fans, go see it!

Football and Football.

Saturday was a super fun day. We went to the Utah football game and Chris and I got on field passes and OH MY WORD those players are HUGE!!!! Thanks Grammy Ras, Tyler and Kasey for watching Rylie. On our way home our friends the Wilcox's called and invited us to the Real Salt Lake game Rylie got to play with Ellie. Ellie was so funny she would started laying down and no body could figure out why. After a little while she started to play again and then all of a sudden Real scored and Ellie was back down again. She didn't like all the noise. Poor girl. It was alot of fun. Thanks Heidi and Mike.

Today we went with my mom and saw WALL-E and after that Kasey, Rylie, my mom and I went to Schmidt Farms Pumpkin Patch and picked out pumpkins. We had so much fun. Rylie would pick ones that she could carry but they were rotting so she helped me carry a really big one. What a cute girl. Thanks Grammy we had alot of fun, love you!!! XOXO

A popcorn ball that would smell so sweet.

We are going to our friends house tonight for family home evening and I have wanted to make caramel corn all weekend so what a more perfect opportunity. It was SO easy and you dont need to put anything in the oven. I tweaked it a little I used 4 bags of microwave popcorn instead of 6 and I added 2 and 1/2 cups dry roasted peanuts. Try it, you'll love it.

Recipe: Quick and Easy Caramel Popcorn


Ingredients:
2 sticks of butter
2 cups of sugar
½ cup of corn syrup
1 Tbsp of molasses
Combine the ingredients and mix in saucepan and bring to boil.

Turn heat to medium and simmer for 3 min while stirring constantly. Add 1 tsp of baking soda to fully combine. Pour over 30 cups (6 bags of microwave popcorn) of fully popped pop corn and nuts.
